Thanks to all who came to the Oars and Ears screening at the Pletterij in Haarlem last Monday. Had a great time! Also enjoyed all the other acts: Remy + Däcker, Lengleng and Glice + Coen Oscar Polack. Also a big thanks to Martijn Comes for organising this edition of De Keuken and all at the Pletterij for their hospitality.

The animation Oars and Ears by Marna van Hal with music by yours truly will be screened twice in November!

On Sat 8 Nov at the Vrij Paleis in Amsterdam (where I also do a live set to the short 80s movies by Toshio Matsumoto) and on Mon 17 Nov at the Pletterij in Haarlem!

This 9-minute film tells the story of a mouse who escapes her boring, predictable life and embarks on an adventure to Amsterdam. This animation, which I crafted with my hand-painted drawings, is enhanced by a unique musical score from @huntercomplex that truly brings the story to life. 🫶
