Some nice finds at the @bordelloaparigi blow out sale! @maiovvi, @umberto_music and @repeatedviewing on @discogiallo3659 and a reissue of a record by @vinicioadames which I bought because of the hype sticker: '1985 Venzuelan synth-pop masterpiece'. It is! And the reason I was there, to pick up a 12" by Moana Pozzi. Fantastic happy/sad italopop.

INFO FROM IMAGINE FANTASTIC FILM FESTIVAL:

In 16th century Prague, Rabbi Löw creates a monster out of clay to protect the Jewish ghetto from the wrath of the emperor. But the golem goes on a rampage and sets fire to the ghetto. Their only hope is a little girl who might be able to defeat the golem.

Paul Wegener’s adaptation of the famous Jewish myth is considered a classic of German expressionist cinema, and the first in which man is confronted with a monster of his own creation.

Hunter Complex, Haarlem-based musician Lars Meijer’s project, created a score especially for this film concert. His predominantly electronic music has new age, etherical jazz and krautrock influences. De Volkskrant called his most recent album Airports and Ports ‘unparalleled, full of tranquillity and sonic comfort’.

Very happy with this incredible record by Died Pretty from 1986. Indie rock in which you can hear the vast Australian landscape. I bet @billjanovitz listened to this one a lot. The track Just Skin is a sister to the @buffalotomband-track Skeleton Key. I discovered Died Pretty through the Downunder lists by Paul Schwarte and Notenzumgeräusch only last year. Unfortunately their lead singer Ron S. Peno passed away in August. Thanks to my bro @coenoscarpolack for fishing it out of the @concertorecordstore crates at the @labelmarkt in Amsterdam.
